Edwards SIGA-CT1 (also written SIGA CT1) is a Signature Series intelligent analog-addressable single input module that connects one Class B normally-open alarm, supervisory or monitor dry-contact initiating device circuit to a Signature loop.
What the module does is set by a "personality code" the installer selects and the Signature loop controller downloads during system configuration. The same hardware serves as a latching alarm input, a retarded waterflow input, a non-latching monitor point or a latching supervisory point. It mounts to a standard North American 1-gang box, which makes it the right choice for remote locations where only one module is needed.

Choosing the personality code

Code 1: normally-open alarm, latching (pull stations, heat detectors)

Code 2: normally-open alarm, delayed latching; alarm is sent after the contact is closed for about 16 seconds, intended for waterflow alarm switches

Code 3: normally-open active, non-latching (fans, dampers, doors)

Code 4: normally-open active, latching (supervisory and tamper switches)
Installation notes
- Only one personality code can be assigned to the SIGA-CT1.
- It will not support 2-wire smoke detectors.
- The wiring diagram calls for a 47k ohm end-of-line resistor on the initiating device circuit.
- Addressing is electronic; there are no switches or dials.
Related models
The SIGA-CT2 dual input module offers two circuits and two addresses, with codes 1 to 4 mixable between circuits. The SIGA-CT1HT is the high-temperature version rated 32°F to 158°F.
