Edwards G4SWF Genesis LED G4S Series Wall Speaker, White, FIRE Marking, 25V or 70V, 1/4 to 2 W Taps

Edwards G4SWF — Genesis LED G4S Series wall-mount speaker, white housing with FIRE marking, and no strobe.

In the Edwards syntax the G4 body is the wall-mount Genesis series, S is the speaker-only function, W is white and F the FIRE marking; the speaker-strobe of the same finish adds a V and is G4SVWF. One model covers both distribution voltages, set by a switch under the cover, and a DC blocking capacitor lets the circuit be supervised.

• Speaker only: no strobe and no candela setting on this number
• 25 VRMS or 70 VRMS, field-selected, tap visible through a side window
• Taps of 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 W giving 78, 81, 84 and 87 dBA
• Those dBA are the same reverberant per UL 1480 and anechoic per CAN/ULC-S541
• 400 Hz to 4,000 Hz UL rated, Speech Transmission Index 0.81
• 4.95 × 5.78 × 1.62 in., fits 2-gang and 4-inch boxes

The GRSW room side wiring plate is required and Edwards sells it only as GRSW-10, a pack of ten. G4SVWF adds a strobe, G4SRF is red and G4SWA is the ALERT version. Edwards approves these for sleeping areas only within an end-to-end system using a factory-supplied 520 Hz tone.
