BRK SMICO100-AC Interconnectable Ion Smoke and CO Alarm (1046871)

BRK SMICO100-AC — 120 V AC hardwired combination ionization smoke and carbon monoxide alarm with 9 V battery backup and interconnect.

One device covers both hazards from a single box: an ionization chamber for flaming fires and an electrochemical cell for carbon monoxide, each rated for ten years of service. A latching indicator shows which unit started the event after it clears.

• Ionization smoke chamber and electrochemical CO sensor, both with a 10-year service life
• 120 V AC 60 Hz with monitored 9 V alkaline backup; 85 dB piezo horn at 10 feet
• Interconnects up to 18 First Alert or BRK smoke, CO and heat alarms, at most 12 of them smoke; wire run 1,000 ft maximum
• Smoke 3 beeps, CO 4 beeps, low battery 1 chirp, malfunction 3 chirps, end of life 5 chirps
• Locking pins secure the battery drawer and the mounting bracket
• 5.12" diameter × 1.97" high; certified to UL 217 and UL 2034

It is not interchangeable with the CO-only alarms in the family: CO615 is a plug-in and CO710 a sealed-battery unit, and neither has a smoke chamber. This alarm senses smoke by ionization, not photoelectrically.
