VESDA XCL-VEA-H2-RA — Sensepoint XCL aspirated hydrogen gas detector, 1000 ppm, 4–20 mA output and relays, for the VESDA-E VEA microbore network.
Xtralis developed the Sensepoint XCL with Honeywell Analytics so an existing VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke network can also carry gas detection. It sits in line in the microbore tubing rather than at the hazard, sampling remotely while staying reachable.
- Hydrogen sensor, 1000 ppm, factory calibrated; cartridge XCL-XRL-SC-H2
- 4–20 mA output (0 to 22 mA) and two relays, 24 VDC or 240 VAC at 5 A
- 24 VDC nominal, 11 to 32 VDC, or 24 VAC at 20 to 27 VAC; 850 mA inrush
- Remote sampling to 100 m (328 ft.); joins 6 mm (1/4 in.) OD VEA tube
- 113 × 113 × 59 mm (4.4 × 4.4 × 2.3 in.), 500 g, IP65
- Minus 20 to 50 °C, 0 to 99% RH; Bluetooth 4.0 LE to 10 m
It ships complete with detector, fitted cartridge, two cable glands, calibration cap, tube and clips. XCL-VEA-H2-RM swaps the analog output for RS 485 Modbus. Two points before specifying: this 1000 ppm hydrogen cell is not the catalytic cartridge reading 0 to 100% LEL, and UL 2075 is stated on this family for the CO and CH4 versions only.
