VESDA VSP-990-330 — 330 ft. of 6 mm UL compliant, plenum rated microbore sampling tube for VESDA-E VEA aspirating detectors.
VEA draws its sample from each protected point down its own microbore tube, so the tube is both sampling path and address. A white ink numbering system runs the full length, giving each tube a unique identifier and marking distance at intervals, which makes per-point commissioning records practical. The tube has no active components and needs no wiring.
- 6 mm outside diameter × 4 mm inside diameter, supplied in a 330 ft. length
- Flame retardant polyethylene, black with red stripes
- 0.009 lb. per foot; bend radius 5.0"
- UL 1820 and NFPA 90A; EN 54-20:2006 clause 5.7
- UL 1820 flame propagation under 5 ft.
- Rated -15 to +60 °C
VSP-990-330 replaced VSP-990, the 1000 ft. version of the same 6 mm tube, discontinued by Xtralis in October 2023 — a 1000 ft. figure describes the old code, not this one. Do not confuse it with VSP-991, the 4 mm tube, nor with the fittings: VSP-1001 and VSP-1003 are the 6 mm union and joiner, VSP-1000 the 6 mm to 4 mm reducer.
