VESDA VSP-979 — microbore tube cutter for VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection tubing.
A VEA detector runs flexible microbore tube out to each addressed sampling point instead of electrical wiring, and every tube end has to seat inside a push-fit connector. A square, undeformed cut is what makes that joint airtight, so this is an installation tool for the tube network rather than a system component.
