VESDA VPS-VEA-230UL — 230 VAC power supply for the VESDA-E VEA aspirating detector and VEA Relay StaX, with integral battery charger and supervision.
It converts 230 VAC, 50 Hz mains to a regulated output and maintains the standby batteries that carry the detector through a mains failure, switching over automatically. A Form C fault relay transfers on AC loss, brown-out, loss of battery voltage, or a short across the battery leads or any DC output.
- Input 230 VAC, 1.0 A, 50 Hz; 5 A / 250 V input fuse
- Output 27 VDC at 2.8 A continuous, 27 VDC at 5 A in alarm
- Battery charging to 5.3 A maximum, up to 108 AH capacity
- Cabinet takes two 12 V, 35 or 36 AH sealed lead acid batteries
- Common trouble relay, Form C, rated 2 A at 30 VDC
- 438 × 330 × 142 mm (17.25 × 13 × 5.6 in.), 5.9 kg (13 lb) without batteries
- UL 864 and ULC-S527 listed, CSFM approved; 0 to 49 °C (32 to 120 °F)
The VPS-VEA-115UL is the same cabinet built for 120 VAC, 2.0 A, 60 Hz, so confirm mains voltage before ordering. For standby capacity beyond two batteries, Xtralis specifies the VEA-BAT battery enclosure.
