Thermocable F3050 — PVC coated analogue linear heat detection sensor cable for the ProReact EN Analogue system.
Linear heat detection covers runs where a fire can start anywhere and point detectors cannot see it. Polymers inside the cable drop in resistance as temperature rises; the ProReact EN Analogue Composite Control Unit measures that resistance and the average ambient along the run, giving pre-alarm and alarm from one cable.
- Four-core twisted with 100% foil shield; red PVC coat, 4.83 mm (0.190 in) diameter
- Minimum bend radius 60 mm (2.36 in); minimum ambient -40 °C
- Zone length 30 to 50 m minimum by setting, 500 m maximum
- Alarm temperature is set at the control unit, not by the cable: Class A1I/A2I, Class BI, or 54 to 100 °C
- VdS EN54-22 approved, certificate G220006; UL 521 listed, file S8976
F3051 is the same cable in a nylon jacket, UV stable for sunlight; F3052 adds a steel braid but is VdS approved only, not UL 521 listed. Use only with the A1389 control unit and A1470 end-of-line unit. F3050 covers 100 m, 250 m and 500 m reels under one part number, so confirm reel length.
