Telguard TG-PEM provides 24 VDC from the panel to the TG-7/TG-7FS and 8 dry contact zones for reporting
The TG-PEM is a power and zone-expansion accessory that mounts inside the metal enclosure of Telguard TG-7 series communicators (TG-7, TG-7E, TG-7FS, TG-7FE). It takes 12 or 24 VDC auxiliary power from the alarm panel and converts it to run the communicator, and it adds 8 configurable dry-contact zone inputs (16 with two modules). It can also connect panel relay outputs to the communicator when a fire panel has no DACT; it cannot be used on its own.
Key Features
- Accepts 12 or 24 VDC from the panel and powers the TG-7 series communicator (and a second TG-PEM if used)
- 8 dry-contact inputs, each configurable as normally open, normally closed or supervised (2.2 k resistors, not included)
- 16 zones available when two TG-PEMs are used
- Lets panels without a DACT report to the central station via panel relay outputs
- Two status LEDs and a reset button for setup and troubleshooting
- Zones are configured through the Telguard dealer portal
- UL 864 and UL 1610; ULC S304 and ULC S559
