Solo 770 — spare high-capacity NiMH battery baton for Solo and Testifire cordless detector testers (manufacturer P/N SOLO770-001).
The 770 is the 3000 mAh baton that superseded the 2200 mAh Solo 760, giving more tests per charge. It powers the Solo 460 heat tester, Testifire 1000/2000 and Scorpion 7000/8000 controllers. Most technicians carry a second baton so one charges in the van while the other is up on the pole.

Charge this baton with the Solo 727 only. The 770 has a red collar matching the red sleeve on the 727 charger lead; the all-black Solo 760 baton and Solo 726 charger are the older pairing, and a 727 will not charge a 760. Mismatching does no damage but gives no usable charge, so check the collar colour before ordering.
