Simplex 8742-346 — control board sold through the trade as the service replacement board for the Simplex 4009 IDNet NAC Extender, the notification power panel Simplex also designates 4009A.
Read the host unit before ordering, because the 4009 main board is not merely a processor. Simplex installation instructions 574-181 Rev. Q call the base unit a single-board system carrying four notification appliance circuits, a power supply and charger, an IDNet slave interface and two NAC inputs.

Confirm the board against the unit in hand: Simplex parts list 574-881 Rev. A names the 4009 Addressable NAC System Board as 565-771 and lists no 742 number. The newer 4009 IDNAC Extender and 4009 Extender Plus are different units.
