Simplex 565-569 — four-circuit Style Y (Class B) signal card used in the Simplex 4009 NAC Power Extender.
The card is a four-circuit repeater. One reverse polarity notification appliance circuit from the host panel drives it and all four output relays pick up together. Each output is supervised, and a short or open on any one of the four opens the host signal circuit so the trouble is reported at the host panel.
- Supervises four Style Y (Class B) output circuits
- Driven from one 24 VDC reverse polarity signal circuit of a 4001, 4002, 4020 or 4100 host
- Alarm input 18 to 32 VDC, and unfiltered power supplies may be used
- Alarm current 2 A maximum at 24 VDC per circuit, power-limited
- Accepts a +24 V auxiliary alarm input
- Up to two signal cards per 4009; the second uses the 733-805 harness, jumper P3 at 1-2
The near twin is 565-386, also four-circuit Style Y, but it demands 20 to 32 VDC with no more than 2 V peak to peak ripple and will not tolerate the unfiltered supply 565-569 accepts. 565-545 is the Class A (Style Z) version of this card, 565-388 the Class A version of 565-386.
