Simplex 562-939 — MAPNET II Signal ZAM, Style Y (formerly Class B), the addressable interface to a conventional notification appliance circuit.
A zone adapter module is how a MAPNET II panel reaches wiring that is not itself addressable. Monitor ZAMs watch an initiating circuit, control ZAMs switch a relay, and the Signal ZAM supervises and drives an output circuit. The Class B here describes that output circuit, Style Y — not the MAPNET II line, wired Class B or Class A independently.

This is not an isolator, despite how it is often listed. Simplex catalogues the panel mounted quad isolator as the 565-158 card, and the remote line powered isolators as 2190-9169 and 2190-9170. In the ZAM group, 562-943 is the Style Z Class A signal version, 562-940 the control relay ZAM, 562-936 the Style B monitor ZAM.
