Simplex 49VO-WRF — TrueAlert ES addressable visible only multi-candela wall strobe, red cover with FIRE lettering and a clear lens.
Simplex classes the 49VO series as V/O, visible only. This appliance has no horn: it is listed to UL 1971 and ULC S526, and UL 464, the audible appliance standard, appears nowhere in its data sheet. Each unit is individually addressed on an IDNAC circuit, with candela set at the panel or by jumper.
- Xenon strobe, synchronised 1 Hz flash, six settings: 15, 30, 75, 110, 135 and 185 cd on IDNAC SLCs
- On legacy TrueAlert addressable SLCs only 15, 30, 75 and 110 cd are available, at 17 VDC minimum
- Currents at 23 VDC RMS: 47, 57, 100, 132, 160 and 208 mA
- Operating range 23 to 31 VDC; 1 unit load; 127 addresses per SLC
- 32 to 122 °F, 10 to 93% RH; terminals for 18 to 12 AWG
- Ships with cover and matching mounting plate; 5-1/8 in. H × 5 in. W × 2-5/8 in. D
49VO-WWF is the white cover version and 49VO-WRA carries ALERT rather than FIRE. Do not confuse either with 49VO-APPLW, which ships without a cover and needs a 49VOC cover and a 49MP plate ordered separately.
