Simplex 49VO-APPLW-O — TrueAlert ES weatherproof wall strobe, visible only, supplied bare with no cover and no back box.
In Simplex data sheet S49WP-0001 the trailing O marks the weatherproof build and APPLW marks the appliance sold on its own: the model table lists 49VO-APPLW-O with the note to order the cover separately, and a weatherproof box is required too. It is individually addressed and takes power, supervision and control from an IDNAC signaling line circuit at a regulated 29 VDC. It carries two listings: UL 1971 indoors at 15 or 75 cd, and UL 1638 outdoors at the WP75 and WP185 settings.
- Multi-candela xenon strobe, 1 Hz sync; settings 15, 75, WP 75, WP 185 cd
- 23 VDC RMS current: 15 cd 60 mA, 75 cd 160 mA, WP75 160 mA, WP185 185 mA; below 32 °F, 212 mA and 239 mA
- UL 1971 range 32 to 120 °F; UL 1638 range –31 to 150 °F
- NEMA 3R housing, 23 to 31 VDC, 1 unit load, 18 to 12 AWG terminals
Budget two more line items: a lettered cover such as 49VOC-WRFIRE-O, and box 49WPBB-AVVOWR in red or 49WPBB-AVVOWW in white. Do not order 49VO-WRFO, which arrives with its red FIRE cover fitted, or 49AV-APPLW-O, which adds a horn.
