Simplex 49SVC-CWALT — white ceiling cover lettered ALERT for TrueAlert ES ceiling-mount addressable Speaker Visible (S/V) notification appliances.
Simplex sells the ceiling S/V appliance and its cover as separate line items, so one appliance stock number can be finished in any approved color and wording. Datasheet S49SVC-0001 flags the S/V covers as required when ordering APPLC models, so an appliance bought on its own arrives with no faceplate. It is a cover only: no speaker, no strobe, no electronics and no IDNAC address.
- Color white, wording ALERT
- Required cover choice for indoor 49SV-APPLC, 49SVH-APPLC, 49HFV-APPLC and 49HFVH-APPLC appliances, with or without the -BA suffix
- Appliance with cover fitted: 8-1/8" H × 7-1/8" W × 3" D (206 × 180 × 76 mm)
- Appliance rating 32° to 120° F (0° to 49° C)
Mind the wording and color codes: 49SVC-CWFIRE is the same white ceiling cover marked FIRE, 49SVC-CRALT is the red ALERT version, and 49SVC-CWS carries the Simplex logo only. Weatherproof appliances take their own covers — an APPLC-O model such as the 49SVH-APPLC-O requires 49SVC-CWALT-O, listed in a separate table, not this cover.
