As part of the Simplex TrueAlert addressable family, the 4906-9230 is a ceiling-mount horn/strobe with a multi-candela xenon strobe, in a white housing with "FIRE" lettering. A TrueAlert addressable signaling line circuit powers, supervises and controls each appliance individually. Horn and strobe run separately over the same two wires.
Key Features
- Strobe set to 15, 30, 75 or 110 cd with a plug at the appliance, or programmed from a 4100U panel with TPS
- Synchronized 1 Hz flash rate
- Horn sounds temporal, March Time or continuous, with high or low output (about 5 dBA apart)
- Supervision to each appliance allows T-tapping on Class B circuits
- With a 4100U and TPS, TrueNAC voltage-drop diagnostics and device reports are available
