Simplex 4906-9132 — TrueAlert non-addressable weatherproof wall horn strobe, white housing with red FIRE lettering.
Simplex lists this as an audible/visible appliance: an electronic horn with a multi-candela strobe in a NEMA 3R rated, impact and vandal resistant housing for indoor or outdoor use. SmartSync two-wire control silences the horn while the strobe keeps flashing on the same circuit.
- NEMA 3R enclosure; regulated 24 VDC over a 16 to 33 VDC range
- UL 1971 indoor 15, 60 or 75 cd at 32°F to 122°F; UL 1638 outdoor 75 cd, setting WP75, at -31°F to 150°F
- Horn at 10 ft and 24 VDC: 83 dBA steady and 79 dBA coded per UL 464 reverberant, 99 dBA per ULC S525 anechoic
- Maximum RMS current 91, 204 and 249 mA at 15, 60 and 75 cd; 205 mA at WP75
- 1 Hz flash, up to 24 synchronized strobes for each circuit
A weatherproof box is required separately, 49WPBB-AVVOWW white or 49WPBB-AVVOWR red. Do not confuse it with strobe-only 4906-9106, which has no horn, red-housing 4906-9131, or ULC listed 4906-9143 at 5, 20 or 30 cd. The wall speaker strobes are a different family, 4906-9151 and 4906-9153.
