A visible-only, non-addressable 24 VDC appliance whose intensity is set on site with a selection plug behind the housing, so one catalogue number covers four candela ratings. Synchronized flash comes from a Simplex NAC set for strobe synchronization or SmartSync two-wire control, a 4009 IDNet NAC extender, or a separate sync module.

Data sheet S4906-0001 puts only 4906-9101 and 4906-9103 on the wall, so the wall counterpart is 4906-9101, whose housing is larger and draws different current. Ceiling siblings are 4906-9104 in white, 4906-9114 and 4906-9115 lettered ALERT, 4906-9116 and 4906-9117 blank.
