Simplex 4903-9425 — wall mount non-addressable horn strobe with a 15 candela xenon strobe in a red housing carrying white FIRE lettering.
It pairs a low current piezoelectric horn with a high output strobe in one housing for four-wire operation, so audible and visible outputs can sit on separate notification appliance circuits. A switch sets the strobe to free-run or synchronized flash.
- Strobe rated 15 cd; nameplate current 76 mA, falling to 51 mA at 24 VDC
- Strobe range 16 to 33 VDC; 1 Hz flash, up to 35 synchronized strobes per circuit
- Horn draws 25 mA steady at 24 VDC and sweeps 2400 to 3700 Hz
- Horn output 88 dBA steady at 24 VDC, UL 464 reverberant chamber at 10 ft
- Housing 5-1/8" H × 5" W × 2-3/4" D, semi-flush or surface mount
- Strobe UL listed to 1971, horn to 464; CSFM 7125-0026:239, FM approved
The three red models differ only in candela and are easy to transpose: 4903-9426 is 75 cd and 4903-9427 is 110 cd. The matching white-housing set is 4903-9431, 4903-9432 and 4903-9433 at the same three outputs.
