Simplex 4903-9361 Speaker/Strobe, White, 110 cd — TrueAlert non-addressable speaker/visible wall notification appliance.
Read the model number carefully: 4903-9361 is a speaker/strobe, not a horn/strobe. It pairs a multi-tapped 25 or 70.7 VRMS speaker with a 110 cd xenon strobe on separate terminals — speaker on a conventional audio circuit, strobe on a 24 VDC NAC. Installers specify it where voice evacuation needs visible notification from the same backbox.
- White housing, red FIRE lettering; 110 cd strobe, free-run or synchronized
- Speaker taps 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 W at 25 or 70.7 VRMS; response 400 Hz to 4000 Hz
- Speaker output 80 to 89 dBA at 10 ft by tap (reverberant, UL 1480)
- Strobe 24 VDC regulated (16–33 VDC absolute), 1 Hz, 253 mA max RMS, 169 mA at 24 VDC
- Up to 35 synchronized strobes per NAC; strobe listed to UL 1971 and ULC S526
If you need a white TrueAlert horn/strobe instead, those are 4903-9431, 9432 and 9433. Surface mounting requires the 4905-9947 white skirt, ordered separately.
