Simplex 4100-9920 — three bay 4100ES retrofit kit, red with glass door, for an existing deep 2120 or 4100 Series backbox.
When a 2120, 2001 or 4100 Series control unit is replaced with 4100ES equipment the new cabinets do not fit the old opening, because 4100ES boxes are narrower, taller and deeper. This kit lets the existing backbox stay on the wall, which matters most where it is set into marble, plaster or concrete. It supplies a glass-fronted metal door with the retainer panels glass applications need, plus the box extension hardware.
- Converts the 2975-9195 six unit or No. 6 backbox, 52 1/8 in. by 25 3/4 in.
- Deep boxes only, 6 3/4 in. or 171 mm, 5/8 in. front top lip
- Accepts three bays of 4100ES equipment
- Deep cabinets allow internal batteries to 33 Ah, reference 2081-9276
- UL listed to Standard 864, also ULC and CSFM listed, FM approved
Order 4100-9924 for the same three bay red kit with a solid door, or 4100-9919 for the two bay glass door kit on a four unit box. The 4100-9903 reads almost identically but fits the shallow 6 1/2 in. box, so measure the existing box depth first.
