Simplex 4100-9600 — MINIPLEX Basic Transponder bay assembly for 4100ES systems, with power distribution interface and Basic Transponder Interface Module.
A MINIPLEX transponder puts initiating and notification modules at a remote location and links them to a host 4100ES panel over a Remote Unit Interface connection, so one low current run replaces many long field circuits. It is bay equipment, not a finished cabinet.

The 4100-9601 is the same bay carrying the 4100-0625 Local Mode module, which keeps working if the host link fails. At the panel, the 4100-1291 RUI Module is listed for the 4100-9600 only.
