Simplex 4100-6052 — serial digital alarm communicating transmitter (SDACT) for 4100ES and 4100U panels.
An SDACT is how a Simplex panel talks to a central station over telephone lines. Instead of a bare contact closure, this module communicates with the panel CPU and sends specific point information — which device, which condition — so the station can dispatch accurately.
- Single 2 in slot module; up to two 4100-6052 SDACTs per 4100ES/4100U
- Dual phone line interface; two RJ31X jacks, Data Certified POTS lines

Check the mounting first. The 4100-6052 is the slot-mounted SDACT; a 4100ES built with the EPS power supply takes the 4100-6080, which mounts to the left side of the CPU bay end support or an expansion bay. They are not substitutes.
