Simplex 4100-5116 — Expansion Signal (XSIG) card, three 1.5 A Class B NACs for 4100U and 4100ES panels.
When a 4100 panel runs out of notification circuits on its amplifier or power supply card, the XSIG card is the expansion path. It mounts on the Power Distribution Interface and splits an incoming source NAC into three supervised circuits, and must be dedicated entirely to audio or entirely to DC.
- Audio use limited to 1.5 A, 50 W or 100 speakers
- 4100-1266 XNAC expander takes this card from three to six Class B NACs
- 4100-1267 Class A adapter upgrades the on-card NACs to Class A
- 4100-1268 substitutes three Class A/B constant-supervision NACs for audio
- Supervision current 20 mA; alarm current 52 mA with a power supply or 100 W amplifier, 80 mA with a Flex-35/Flex-50
- 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C)
The expanders are separate parts — alone this card gives three Class B NACs. Verify programmer, executive and slave software compatibility before installing.
