Simplex 4100-1272 — Expansion Telephone Control Module with three Class B firefighter telephone circuits.
A 4100-1270 Master Telephone arrives with one telephone interface module, covering three circuits. Buildings needing more jacks than that, or a transponder feeding its own risers, take expansion modules. Circuits are supervised for opens, shorts and overloads, and each output can be programmed as a remote telephone circuit, a Remote Master, or a telephone riser tying interface modules together.
- Three Class B telephone NACs per module
- Mounts in a main control panel or transponder; one Block, a 4 in. × 5 in. card area
- Current 80 mA supervisory, 140 mA in use plus remote telephones
- Class A conversion with the 4100-1273 adapter, which mounts on this module and needs no extra current or space
Caution: this is an expansion module, not a master. The system still needs a Master Telephone (4100-1270, one per audio system) plus LED/switch modules for individual circuit control.
