Simplex 4100-1210 — Analog Controller Board, the audio head end for 4100ES and 4100U emergency voice systems.
The audio controller stores and regenerates system tones and voice messages and manages microphone inputs; the CPU sees it as a single slave. The analog version drives a two-channel riser, as most legacy Simplex voice bays did. Installers reach for it when an existing analog bay needs its controller replaced, or to stock a spare.
- Board only; expansion bay and bay kit ordered separately (4100-9620 is the packaged bay, board and microphone module)
- Mounts in Blocks A and B of the audio bay
- 225 mA supervisory current, before speaker and mic loads
- Message memory 2 minutes normal or 1 minute high resolution; expands with 4100-1241/1242
- Analog riser to 10,000 ft (3048 m) on 18 AWG shielded twisted pair
A Simplex audio system is either all analog or all digital, never intermixed: this will not drop into a bay running a 4100-1211 or 4100-1311 digital controller. Confirm the riser type.
