The Simplex 4098-9845 is a weatherproof duct housing enclosure that circulates conditioned air around a duct sensor housing.
It's designed to protect the sensor housing from environmental extremes and maintain its temperature range.
Compatible with TrueAlarm addressable duct sensor housings, including models 4098-9755 (Standard Duct Sensor Housing) and 4098-9756 (Duct Sensor Housing with Relay Output).
The duct housing contains a photoelectric sensor and an exhaust tube. The sampling tube specific to the duct size is ordered separately.
Continuous communication actively monitors the status of the electronic circuit. A weatherproof duct housing enclosure allows conditioned air to circulate through the air duct to maintain the sensor housing within the rated temperature range. Non-metallic materials that do not require painting are used.
Captive cover screws allow for easy maintenance and inspection. It comes with intake and exhaust tubes for easy installation. A full-size mounting template and all required gaskets are included for convenience. It complies with UL 268A standard and is rated NEMA 4X.
