Simplex 4098-9792E — E-Series standard TrueAlarm sensor base, no options.
The E suffix is not a protocol generation. Johnson Controls publishes the E parts under the heading Bases for Extended Exposure to High Humidity, the family sold with the 4098-9733E heat sensor. Electrically it is the plain standard base: it digitizes the detachable sensor value for the panel, and the address stays with the base.
- Analog sensor values sent digitally over IDNet or MAPNET II, auto-selected, one address per base
- No options — no remote LED alarm indicator output, no relay output
- Integral red LED pulses for power on, steady on for alarm or trouble
- Magnetic functional test; screw terminals, 18 to 14 AWG
- 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C) operating, UL listed 32°F to 100°F (0°C to 38°C), 10 to 95% RH
- Mounts to a 4 in. octagonal or square box, 1 1/2 in. min. depth, or a single gang box, 2 in. min.
If the drawings call for a remote LED indicator, this base cannot provide one.
