Sleeping areas such as hotel rooms and dormitories often need a low-frequency alarm at the point of detection. The Simplex 4098-9772 meets that need: it is a TrueAlarm addressable sensor base with a built-in 520 Hz sounder. It uses a single IDNet address and gets communications and sensor power from the IDNet channel.
Key Features
- Low-frequency sounder output: 520 Hz at 85 dBA
- Accepts a TrueAlarm photoelectric, photo/heat or heat sensor (ordered separately)
- Sounder can be supervised and coded by compatible NACs for synchronized temporal, march time or other coding
- Address is set at the base, so it stays with the location when the sensor is removed
- Automatic sensor type identification and magnetic test function
- Integral red LED pulses for normal communication and stays on for alarm or trouble
