Simplex 4098-5214 — MX Technology addressable duct smoke sensor housing for the 4098-5252 photoelectric sensor.
Mounted outside an air-conditioning or ventilating duct, it draws a sample of the airstream across a sensor held in an internally mounted base and returns it through the exhaust tube. Simplex lists it for 4100ES and 4010ES panels with an MX Addressable Loop Module, one loop address per base.

The housing alone does not detect — order the 4098-5252 sensor and matching STS tube with it. It is backward compatible with the discontinued 4098-5202. Do not substitute the earlier TrueAlarm 4098-9681, -9752 or -9753 duct housings.
