Simplex 4090-5250 — MX Technology addressable multiple input/output module with three Class B inputs and two Form C relay outputs.
This is an MX loop device: it takes its power from the MX loop and talks to an MX Loop Module (ESMX Loop Interface Module) in a Simplex 4100ES or 4010ES panel, so the panel must have one fitted. Typical uses are monitoring extinguishing-system, ventilation and fire-door contacts and switching related controls. It uses five sub-points, three inputs and two outputs.
- Inputs: three supervised Class B, N.O. or N.C., set as Style B (multiple contacts) or Style C (single current-limited contact); 300 Ω end-of-line
- Outputs: two Form C dry latching relays, 2 A at 24 VDC, monitored for a stuck contact
- MX loop current 0.7 mA standby, 6.25 mA alarm; no separate supply
- Module 110 × 72 × 18 mm; mounts in the D800 IP55 housing 557.201.401, a separate model
- UL 864 listed multi-point device; 32–120 °F
Not the 4090-5258 Mini-IAM or the 4090-5259 Relay IAM. The 557.201.303 DIN-rail kit is not UL listed.
