Simplex 4081-9002 — Class B end-of-line resistor harness, 3.3 kΩ at 1 W, 5% tolerance, Simplex reference number 733-893.
A supervised Class B circuit is watched by passing a small current through a resistor fitted at the far end of the run, so a break in the field wiring appears at the panel as a trouble. The 4081 harness is that resistor pre-assembled between two wire tails, its leads crimped and covered with heat shrink, which makes the termination repeatable in a remote back box. Simplex lists it among the active circuit end-of-line resistors for 4100U and 4100ES systems.

Check the value against the circuit specification first, because the 4081 series is a ladder of near-identical harnesses: 4081-9001 is 2.2 kΩ at 1/2 W, 4081-9007 is 1.2 kΩ at 1 W, 4081-9017 is 3.9 kΩ at 1 W and 4081-9018 the 10 kΩ 1 W harness for 70 V RMS CSNAC circuits.
