Simplex 4010-9817 — modular network interface module that lets a 4010 fire alarm control panel join a Simplex fire alarm network.
Simplex catalogs it as Network Interface Module, Modular. It carries no transceiver of its own: it fills one of the two option slots in the 4010 and then accepts two in/out media modules, so the same card can be wired today and converted to fiber later. Nodes may include 4100ES, 4100U, 4010ES and 4010 panels and 4190 TrueSite Workstations.
