Simplex 4009-9202CA — the ULC listed model of the 4009 IDNet NAC Extender, 120 VAC input.
Meeting notification requirements can need more appliance power than the fire alarm panel can supply. The 4009 adds that power in its own cabinet, close to the host panel or remote from it, and reports back. Driven over IDNet it occupies a single address while each circuit stays individually controllable.
- Four Class B notification appliance circuits as standard, rated 2 A each
- Total output 8 A for special application appliances, 6 A for regulated 24 DC appliance power
- Control by IDNet from a 4007ES, 4010, 4010ES, 4100U or 4100ES, or hardwired from conventional 24 VDC circuits
- Internal 8 A supply and battery charger; up to 12.7 Ah in the cabinet or 18 Ah in the 4009-9801 cabinet
- 500 mA at 24 VDC auxiliary output; up to 33 strobes per circuit can synchronise
- Cabinet 16-1/4 " W × 13-1/2 " H × 4-1/4 " D; 32 to 120 °F
- Expandable to eight circuits with the 4009-9807; UL listed to Standard 864
4009-9201 is the UL model on 120 VAC and the one Simplex certifies as seismically tested; 4009-9301 is the 240 VAC model. 4009-9202BA is a different product in the 4009 IDNet NAC Extender data sheet.
