Simplex 2190-9162 — Signal Zone Adapter Module, Class B or Style Y, flush cover, for MAPNET II communications.
A Zone Adapter Module gives a conventional, non-addressable circuit one address on the panel communication loop, so existing field wiring can be kept when a building moves to addressable control. The Signal ZAM drives a 24 VDC notification appliance, speaker or firefighter telephone circuit from that address.
- Output up to 2 A at 24 VDC, or 50 W of 25 VRMS speakers, or three simultaneously activated firefighter phones
- Supervisory current 15 mA at 24 VDC; alarm 40 mA at 24 VDC
- MAPNET II at 24 to 40 VDC with data, plus separate 24 VDC supply; 8-position DIP addressing
- Flush cover 5-7/16" square (138 mm), mounting to a 4-11/16" (119 mm) square box
- For 4100 and 4100U, 4100 Universal Transponders, 4120 nodes, 4020 and 2120 panels
The range differs by one digit between quite different modules: 2190-9161 is this same Class B module with a surface cover, 2190-9160 the flush Class A or Style Z signal ZAM, 2190-9164 the flush Control Relay ZAM, and 2190-9156 the flush Class B Monitor ZAM.
