Simplex 2099-9822 — replacement retaining clip that holds the glass plate in a 2099 Series break-glass manual station.
On a double-action break-glass station the operator strikes the front-mounted hammer to break the glass and expose the recessed handle, so the glass plate and its retainer are consumables. Simplex 574-656 gives the refit: swing the hammer clear, fit the retainer onto the bottom of the glass plate, tuck the top of the plate behind the tab, then slide the retainer in until it snaps into place.

This clip retains the glass plate only — it is neither the glass nor the break-rod. Order 2099-9803 for the glass and 2099-9804 for the rod. The push-type stations 2099-9756, -9757 and -9758 have no glass at all.
