Simplex 2099-9804 Replacement Break-Rod for 2099 and 4099 Series Manual Stations and 2084 Phone Cabinets

Simplex 2099-9804 — replacement break-rod, the consumable rod that breaks when a Simplex manual station lever is pulled.

A break-rod is supplied with the station and its use is optional. When fitted, completing the pull breaks an internal rod that is then visible below the lever, deterring vandalism without adding to the pull force. Resetting takes a key, and a broken rod must then be replaced.

• Moulded 2099 Series non-coded stations such as 2099-9101 and 2099-9756
• 2099 Series releasing stations 2099-9149 and 2099-9152
• IDNet and MAPNET II stations 4099-9004, 4099-9005, 4099-9006 and 4099-9021, plus releasing 4099-9015
• MX digital loop stations 4099-5201 and 4099-5202
• 2084 Series firefighter telephone cabinets with a break-rod door
• Optional; one ships with the station and must be replaced once broken

It is not 2099-9803, the replacement breakglass for double action breakglass stations. The cast metal 2099 Series is a separate line with its own accessory: 2099-9829, twelve replacement break rods, for stations such as 2099-9138, and that line has no breakglass option.
