Simplex 2099-9762 — single action manual station with institutional cover, non-coded and non-addressable.
In psychiatric, detention and some healthcare occupancies an exposed pull lever is a nuisance-alarm problem. The 2099-9762 is the standard 2099 single action station supplied with the institutional cover, so an alarm can only be initiated by inserting a key and opening the cover. Past that point it behaves as an ordinary single action station, and a key is required to reset it.
- Single action, general alarm, key-operated institutional cover
- Non-coded, non-addressable; no pre-signal or annunciator contacts
- Screw terminals for in/out wiring, 18 AWG to 14 AWG
- Red high-impact polycarbonate, 5" H × 3-3/4" W × 1" D
- 32° to 120°F; UL listed to Standard 38
Check before ordering: this station is not addressable — no IDNet or MAPNET interface, it reports as a contact closure on a conventional initiating device circuit. For an addressable Simplex station see the 4099 Series.
