Simplex 2099-9759 — non-coded double-action push-type manual station with pre-signal and key-operated general alarm.
This is the two-stage member of the 2099 family. Pushing the bar and pulling the handle down breaks the rod, sounds a pre-signal alarm and exposes a general alarm key switch; turning the proper key escalates to general alarm. It suits occupancies where staff investigate before evacuation.
- Double action, push type, with pre-signal — the Figure 4 station in Simplex 574-656
- Three normally open contacts: pre-signal, general alarm and annunciator, all closing on alarm
- Screw terminals, 18 AWG minimum to 14 AWG maximum
- Semi-flush: 4" square box, 2-1/8" minimum depth, with a 3/4" deep single-gang switch cover
- Surface: 2975-9178 steel or 2975-9022 aluminum back box, never shallower than 2-3/16"
