Simplex 2099-9149 — a double action manual release station for suppression releasing service, supplied with a blank front panel and no application marking.
This is not a fire alarm pull station. Simplex documents the 2099 releasing stations apart from its standard manual stations and leaves a blank area on the front for the label matching the system released. That kit is ordered separately, so this number arrives unlabelled.
- Requires label kit 4099-9802: Clean Agent, Extinguishing, CO2, Foam, Sprinkler or Manual
- Double action: a spring-loaded plate marked PUSH is pushed back before the lever pulls
- Break-rod supplied, use optional; replacement is 2099-9804
- Reset takes the 252-019 B key, keyed as Simplex cabinets
- Red Lexan polycarbonate, white raised lettering; 5 × 3-3/4 × 1 in.
- UL listed to Standard 38; also ULC and CSFM listed, FM approved
2099-9152 is the same station wired for Style C with a 560 Ω series resistor. Note that 2099-9803 is the breakglass for the breakglass stations and does not fit this break-rod model; S2099-0007 covers ordinary manual stations.
