Simplex 2099-9103 — 2099-Series non-coded double action break-glass manual fire alarm station.
This is a complete pull station, not a spare glass. Double action means two deliberate motions signal an alarm: the operator strikes the front-mounted hammer to break the glass plate, then pulls the handle down firmly to break the rod behind it. That sequence is what specifiers use to cut malicious pulls in schools, dormitories and public corridors. After operation the front must be unlocked and opened to reset the handle before the system can be restored.
- 2099-Series non-coded station, double action, break glass
- Same operating family as 2099-9104 and 2099-9105
- Actuates annunciator contacts where provided
- Key-locked front; handle resets only with the station open
- Consumables: glass plate and break rod, replaced after each operation
One unit is one station. The glass plate and rod are ordered separately, so budget replacements for every drill and acceptance test.
