Simplex 2080-9069 — flush-mount fire suppression maintenance disconnect keyswitch, without disconnect indicator lamp.
A releasing system must be taken out of service before anyone works on it, using a visible, secured disconnect rather than lifted wires. This is that device: a maintained keyswitch on a stainless steel plate marked FIRE SUPPRESSION DISCONNECT / DISABLE. The disabled position opens the connection to the Releasing Appliance Circuit output and places a resistor across the input circuit, so the host panel raises a supervisory condition instead of leaving a dead circuit unannounced. The key withdraws only in normal.
- Single-gang size; 3-position contact block housing, 1 contact block installed
- Disabled position places a 16.2 kΩ resistor across the input circuit; removable
- Contacts: silver, 1 N.O. and 1 N.C., rated 2 A resistive @ 30 VDC
- Flush mounting uses a 2-3/4 in (70 mm) deep single-gang box
- 32° F to 120° F; UL listed to Standard 864, ULC and CSFM listed
2080-9070 is the surface-mount version, 2080-9059 and 2080-9060 add the indicator lamp on a double-gang plate, and 2080-9056 / 2080-9067 are abort pushbuttons, not disconnects.
