The Silent Knight SK-RELAY module is a relay module with an addressable feature designed for use in conjunction with Honeywell Silent Knight Series fire alarm control panels (FACPs). The SK-RELAY enables a Silent Knight FACP to switch discrete contacts using code commands. This relay module has two isolated sets of Form C contacts that operate as a DPDT switch. However, there is no supervision for the notification appliance circuit.
The SK-RELAY contacts are suitable for virtually any application, whether normally open or closed. Each SK-RELAY comes programmed with a unique signaling line circuit (SLC) loop address. The relay is triggered by the FACP when an event occurs that controls the SK-RELAY.
INSTALLATION
The SK-RELAY can be mounted directly into a 4" square electrical box with a minimum depth of 2-1/8". A surface-mount electrical box (System Sensor® PN SMB500) is available from Silent Knight.
