Silent Knight SK-PHOTO-R-W — white addressable photoelectric smoke sensor with remote test capability for DNR and DNRW duct housings.
Two suffixes, two meanings: R is the remote-test head, W is the white housing of the SK-PHOTO-W series. In a DNR or DNRW duct housing it is tested from an RTS151 or RTS151KEY remote station instead of a test coil. The base is supplied separately.
- SK protocol addressable-analog communication; rotary decimal addressing
- 15 to 32 VDC; 200 µA standby, 4.5 mA maximum at 24 VDC
- Sensitivity 0.5% to 4.0% per foot obscuration in UL applications
- Remote output drives an RA100Z LED annunciator, not a relay
- 0 to 4000 ft/min air velocity; UL 268A listed for duct applications
- 32° to 122°F, or -4° to 158°F installed in a DNR or DNRW
Honeywell states the SK-PHOTO-W series directly replace the earlier SK-PHOTOR generation. Within this series, SK-PHOTO-W is the plain area detector with no remote test head and SK-PHOTO-T-W adds a 135°F thermal element. Relay and isolator functions come from the base, B224RB-WH or B224BI-WH, never from the sensor.
