Silent Knight RBB — remote battery box for standby batteries too large to fit inside the fire alarm control panel cabinet.
Silent Knight addressable panels charge and supervise sealed lead-acid standby batteries, but the panel enclosure only holds the smaller cases. The RBB is a separate wall-mounted cabinet carrying the larger batteries alongside the panel, wired back to the panel battery leads through conduit so it still charges and monitors them.

The RBB is an empty enclosure with cable extenders: batteries are not included and it adds no charging capacity. Do not confuse it with the 5895XL or 5496 Intelligent Power Modules, which add power supply output rather than battery space.
