EVS-VCM is the Silent Knight voice control module for the 6820EVS and IntelliKnight 5820XL-EVS emergency voice fire alarm panels. It mounts on the dead front inside the panel enclosure, provides the supervised microphone for live paging, and has a built-in digital message repeater for the EVS voice messages. It is sold as a replacement module for an existing EVS Series system.

Compatibility and installation notes
- Mounts on six studs in the middle section of the panel dead front; remove AC power and disconnect the batteries before installing.
- The microphone clips to the dead front, and its cord passes through the dead front with a strain relief clip.
- After installation, set the SBUS ID with the DIP switches and add the module to the panel module list.
- The panel menu includes EVS-VCM maintenance options for PC connection and local message recording.
- On the 5820XL-EVS, the system supports up to four EVS-RCU remote command units and up to four amplifiers (500 W per system).
