Siemens XTRI-S — addressable single input interface module, part number S54370-B3-A1, with built-in dual isolation.
It lets a dry contact field device report to a Siemens panel as its own point on the signaling line circuit. ISOtechnology isolators on both sides of the module confine a short and tell the panel which side of it the fault is on.
- Monitors one normally open or normally closed dry contact and reports status only; no relay output, one address on the loop
- 13 to 32 VDC; maximum current draw 650 µA
- Dual isolation meets NFPA 72 Class X (Style 7); up to 252 isolators per loop and 30 devices between isolators
- LED flashes green when normal, amber on trouble and red on alarm, at 10, 4 and 1 second intervals
- Mounts to a 4 in. square box 2-1/4 in. deep or a double gang box; 5 in. faceplate supplied
- Addressed with the Siemens DPU programmer, 500-033260
Do not confuse it with XTRI-R (S54370-B1-A1), the same input plus a Form C relay, or XTRI-D (S54370-B2-A1), which supervises two contacts on one address. TRI-S (500-896225) is a different family, for FireFinder XLS and MXL.
