Siemens XMS-S — addressable single-action manual pull station with built-in isolation, part number S54321-F7-A1.
One motion sets it off: the recessed cover pocket pulls down and locks in the alarm position until a Siemens T-45 key is turned counter-clockwise. Built-in isolation lets the station meet NFPA 72 Class X (Style 7) survivability, and it reports a maintenance trouble if left armed with the cover off during service.
- 13 to 32 VDC; polarity insensitive in non-isolation mode
- Maximum average operating current 500 µA at 24 VDC
- Tri-color LED flashes green normal, red alarm, amber trouble
- One address; up to 30 addressable devices between isolators
- Polycarbonate, 5.50" H × 4.0" W × 1.250" D; 2-1/2" deep single-gang box
- 32° to 120°F; UL38 and ULC-S528 listed, FM approved, ADA compliant
The suffix is the whole difference: XMS-D and XMS-DA are dual-action, XMS-2S is two-stage, and XMS-M (S54321-F19-A1) is single-action in an aluminum housing. No Siemens document states that the XMS-S replaces an earlier station.
