Siemens XMS-D — addressable dual action manual pull station in a plastic housing.
A field installed intelligent initiating device with two-way panel communication. An extra lever marked PUSH HERE THEN must be operated before the cover pocket can be reached and pulled down, so an alarm takes two deliberate actions. The cover latches until reset with the supplied Siemens T45 key.
- Dual action; high impact polycarbonate housing, ADA compliant
- 13 to 32 VDC, 500 µA max average operating current at 24 V
- Wires in isolation or polarity insensitive mode; 18 to 14 AWG
- LED flashes green normal, red alarm, amber trouble when the cover is off
- 5.50 in. H x 4.0 in. W x 1.250 in. D; fits a 2-1/2 in. deep 1-gang box
- 32 to 120 °F (0 to 49 °C), 0 to 95 percent RH
The XMS-DA is most easily confused with this one: also dual action, but adding normally closed auxiliary contacts for door holders and magnetic locks, which the XMS-D lacks. The XMS-S is single action in the same housing, the XMS-M single action in aluminum, and the XMS-2S dual stage with a keyswitch for Canadian two-stage use.
